I am a Christian. Baptist to be more specific. I can not talk about my world view without talking about The Church. For you see, I am the Church. In the Bible, the word Ekklesia was used. Ekklesia means Church. In Matthew 16:18, Jesus says to Peter, â€Å"Now that I say to you that you are Peter(which means rock ), and upon this rock I will build my church, and all the powers of hell will not conquer it.† The Church was founded upon people. As Jesus traveled, he had a group of disciples. He knew that people are strongest in numbers and he would use people to start the Church. After all, the Church is not a building. The Church is the individual and group that serves God. This is what I believe as a Christian. I believe that I am a part of Church the people. The Church was an incredible movement to have started so many years ago and to still have such an impact today. This is because the Church is a dynamic and living being. I am grateful to be a part of the Church. I grew up in a Baptist Church that I attended with my family. My family was very involved with the church and so we spent a lot of time there. My brothers and I used to spend hours in that church helping out and simply running around as the little kids we were.
